Getting access to container images

You must get access to the Cloud Pak container images before you edit the custom resource file.

Getting access to images from the public IBM Entitled Registry
To get access to the Cloud Pak container images from the IBM entitled registry you must have a key to pull the images from the IBM registry. The deployment script asks for the entitlement key.
Getting access to images from an offline (private) image registry
To get access to the Cloud Pak container images, you can download the Cloud Pak packages (.tgz files) from Passport Advantage® (PPA) or Fix Central. You must then push the images to your registry. The deployment script asks for the user credentials for your registry.
Getting access to images from a private IBM Cloud Container Registry
To get access to the Cloud Pak container images on a private IBM Cloud Container Registry, you must download the Cloud Pak packages (.tgz files) from Passport Advantage (PPA) or Fix Central. You must then push the images to a target registry. The deployment script asks for user credentials for the target image registry.
