Getting started with SMS messages

Read the following to learn how to set up SMS in Acoustic Campaign, log in to the SMS Campaign Manager, create an SMS campaign and programs, and send an SMS message.

Setting up SMS
When Provisioning enables SMS for the organization and adds short codes, long codes, and/or Sender IDs to the SMS Campaign Manager, you can complete the following steps to set up SMS. After you finish the setup, you can create a campaign and then create your SMS programs.
How do I log in to the SMS Campaign Manager?
Before you can log in to SMS, your Acoustic Campaign Organization Administrator must first enable SMS for you at the User Account level (go to Settings > User Accounts > select user > User Permissions).
How do I create an SMS campaign?
Campaigns are used to organize your programs for reporting purposes. In the Campaign Manager, you can create a campaign before you create a program to send SMS messages.
How do I create an SMS program?
Create an SMS program using our SMS Campaign Manager's pre-built SMS program templates. You can have an unlimited number of SMS programs.
How do I preview SMS message drafts?
You can preview SMS message drafts to ensure the message will look exactly how you expect it to look.
How do I send an SMS message?
After you create a program in the SMS Campaign Manager, you can create and send SMS messages to contacts who opted into SMS programs.
