What to do when large files or slow connections hinder uploads to the Acoustic Campaign

If you have a large database or perhaps a slower internet connection, you may have issues uploading that file into Acoustic Campaign. Your browser may time out or you may receive an error during the upload. Here are two tips to help complete your upload:

Resolving the problem

  • Use SFTP. Every Acoustic Campaign user also receives their own SFTP account. This should secure a better connection than browser.
  • Break the files into smaller sizes to upload easier. After getting all the smaller files in the Stored Files directory go to Import Update. Update the database repeatedly with each of the smaller files, gradually re-building the original intended file to be imported and complete your database.
