Ensure that you complete the prerequisite tasks for your
SQL Server database before you install the IBM® Records Manager database.
To ensure that the SQL Server database is ready for the IBM Records Manager installation:
- Create a schema owner ID and password. Ensure
that the password contains 6 - 30 alphanumeric characters and does
not contain spaces.
- Create a Unicode database to ensure proper
sorting.
- Enable XA transactions as necessary.
