Installing the FTM user defined nodes on the toolkit
Before you can use the FTM user defined nodes (for example: Standards Processing
node, FlowManager Shutdown node, WebSphere® Decision Service Node)
in sample message flows provided by FTM, you must carry out the following steps to
install it on the IBM® Integration Toolkit:
- Log on to the toolkit workstation.
- Create a temporary directory.
- Transfer the following archive file from the host machine to the temporary directory:
instdir/multiplatform/FXH_Core_Plugins_WMB.zip
- Extract the files contained in the archive file.
- Extract and copy the plug-in JAR files to the toolkit dropins directory. For IBM Integration Toolkit V9.0 on the Windows operating system, the
default toolkit dropins directory is:
If the dropins directory does not yet exist within the toolkit installation directory, you have to create it.C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\IntegrationToolkit90\dropins
- Run the mb -clean -initialize command from the IBM Integration Console to pick up the new files. Note: When you start the Integration Toolkit immediately after running this command, it will take longer than normal to start up.
