Licenses

Operational Decision Manager components and features are made available under IBM Operational Decision Manager licensing. Ensure that you install only the components for which you have a valid license.

The table lists the product components that you are entitled to install depending on the license that you have.

Operational Decision Manager Server Express Note: Operational Decision Manager Server Express grants you access to limited capabilities. For example, you have high availability and PVU limitations.	Decision Server Rules: For this component, you can install the following features: Rule Designer Rule Execution Server Update sites for Eclipse
	Rules profile templates for WebSphere Application Server
	Decision Center
	Decision Center profile templates for WebSphere Application Server

Both Operational Decision Manager licenses come in two types: development and production. Development licenses can be activated only as part of a development and test environment for internal, nonproduction activities, whereas production licenses are for using the product in production. During installation, you specify how you intend to use the product.
