Time operators

To include time logic to the rules, you use event and time operators. These operators can express durations, time points, time periods, and current time.

Time logic based on the current time
When you use time operators in rules to specify time conditions, the system applies a time logic to decide what events meet the time conditions. If the conditions refer to now, the result depends on the timestamp of the event and its relative position in a timeline to the variable now.
Current-time operators
Use these operators to specify conditions on the current time.
Duration operators
Use duration operators to define, calculate, and compare durations.
Time period operators
Use time period operators to define, calculate, and compare time periods.
Time point operators
Use time point operators to specify an event, calculate a time period, and compare time points.
