Access to Decision
Center is
managed by the application server security. To access Decision
Center
in WebSphere® Application Server,
you must define a user registry. You can also manage the security
policies.
Creating users and groups
Security relies on users and user groups. You define the
groups to which the users belong in the application server. For this
purpose, you configure a federated repository as a user registry.
Updating the security policies
If you enable Java 2 security on WebSphere Application Server, you
must override the global security policies of the application server
so that the deployed application can access the MBean server.
Setting custom properties for Decision Center security
To ensure that the Decision
Center consoles
work correctly, set the InvalidateOnUnauthorizedSessionRequestException and setContextRootForFormLogin properties
in WebSphere Application Server.
