Test case properties
When the Test Case Editor opens, a Properties view also opens to display the file properties of the test case.
- Capture file I/O
- The option for capturing file I/O transaction using recording service. This option can be checked or unchecked from the ZUnit Preferences page. This option appears only when test target program has file I/O statements. For more information, see Setting ZUnit preferences.
- Playback file
- The data set name of the playback file generated during the recording process. This property applies only to test cases that were generated by the z/OS® Dynamic Test Runner. If the recorded data was not exported to a playback file, the value is empty.
- Recording Program Name
- The program name of the recorded application. If the program name is not determined, the default value is the program ID.
- Source file
- The COBOL or PL/I source file for which the test case was generated.
- Test case ID
- The test case ID or universal unique ID generated for a test case program. This property might be a generated value or a value specified when the test case was generated.
- Test case module
- The load module name of the generated test case file.
- Test case name
- The source file name of the generated test case file.
- Program Types
- Specified program types. The available types are CICS, Db2, and IMS. If the programs contain
specific program statements or you manually checked the program types in the Create/modify
test case dialog, the values for the corresponding program types are
true
. CICS and IMS are shown only for COBOL.
