Preferences

Use the Preferences window to set preferences both for the workbench and for specific components of IBM Developer for z/OS.

To open the Preferences window:

Windows: From the main menu, select Window > Preferences.
macOS: From the main menu, select IBM Developer for z/OS > Preferences.
From an editor: Right-click and select Preferences.

Some product user interface windows also provide a link to the Preferences window. You can click this link to open the Preferences.

To navigate in the Preferences window, you can expand and collapse preference categories. For example, to navigate to the Formatter preference page of the PL/I Editor, expand PL/I > Editor and select Formatter.
