Migrating component queues from a legacy Component Manager

Migrate component queues that were created with a legacy Component Manager to the current version of Component Manager.

About this task

Migrating component queues to the current version of Component Manager can be as simple as reconfiguring the adapter in IBM® Administration Console for Content Platform Engine, or it can require revising the component adapter code.

Procedure

To configure a component adapter:

  1. Access the adapter properties in Administration Console for Content Platform Engine:
    1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, click the Administrative > Workflow System > Isolated Regions folder and click the isolated region that you want to modify.
    3. Click the Component Queues folder.
    4. Click the component queue that you want to migrate.
    5. In the details pane, click the Adapters tab.
  2. Select an adapter type that is not a legacy option.
  3. Click Configure and specify the properties for the adapter that you selected.
  4. Update the JAAS credentials.
  5. Save your changes.
