Creating an entry template to declare physical records
When you declare physical records in IBM Enterprise Records, you can create entry templates that provide predefined records classes, record classification, and properties. Some of the wizard pages can be hidden for faster processing.
About this task
By default, IBM Enterprise Records includes the IBM Enterprise Records Physical Record Declare Template that helps you to declare physical records.
IBM Enterprise Records supports more than one entry template. At the time of declaring a physical record, you can select a template from the available list of templates. Using the IBM Content Navigator application, you can create record declaration entry templates.
Procedure
To add a record entry template in IBM Content Navigator:
- Select Open Entry Templates View.
- Select the object store.
- Select New Record Entry Template type from the New menu.
