To establish secure connections in IBM Spectrum Protect
Plus, you can upload an SSL certificate such as an
HTTPS or LDAP certificate by using the administrative console.
About this task
For HTTPS certificates, PEM encoded certificates with .cer or
.crt extensions are supported.
For LDAP certificates, DER encoded certificates with .cer or
.crt extensions are supported. If you are uploading an LDAP SSL certificate,
ensure that IBM Spectrum Protect
Plus has connectivity to the
LDAP server and that the LDAP server is running.
ASCII and binary format certificates are accepted with the standard
.pem, .cer, and .crt file
extensions.
