Comma Separated Value (CSV) sample

The Comma Separated Value (CSV) sample shows how you can model three common variants of CSV messages by using Data Format Definition Language (DFDL). DFDL can be used to parse and serialize the sample CSV messages to and from any of the IBM Integration Bus domains. For more information about IBM Integration Bus domains, see Message domains and parsers. You can use the CSV message models that are provided in this sample as a starting point for modeling your own CSV messages.

Read about the sample

You can set up the sample in one of the following ways:

• Import and deploy the sample

  This option imports the sample files into your workspace and deploys the sample to the integration node. This option also sets up additional resources for the sample, for example, WebSphere MQ queues.

• Import the sample

  This option imports the sample files into your workspace. Additional manual steps might be required to configure the sample for testing.

You can import or import and deploy a sample only when you use the information center that is integrated with the IBM Integration Toolkit.

Run the sample

• Remove the sample from the integration node, but leave its resources in the workspace
• Remove the sample from the integration node and the workspace
