Exporting a configurable service

Use the IBM® Integration Explorer to export a configurable service to use on another integration node (broker).

The properties of a configurable service can be exported from an integration node, and imported by a new integration node. The properties of the configurable service are stored in a .configurableservice file.

If the configurable service is defined on an integration node in the IBM Integration Explorer, you can drag the configurable service from the integration node to a new integration node.

Alternatively, to export a configurable service to a .configurableservice file:

  1. In the Navigator view, expand the integration node to which you want to import a configurable service.
  2. Expand the Configurable Services folder.
  3. Right-click the configurable service that you want to export, and then click Export *.configurableservice.
  4. Enter a name for the .configurableservice file, and click OK.
