Importing OpenShift Container Platform accelerator bundle
You can import and work with OpenShift Container Platform accelerator bundle.
About the task
Use this procedure only if you are using a OpenShift Container Platform accelerator version that is supported by IBM Cloud Pak® System V2.3.3.0 or higher.
Before you begin
- Procure a license for Red Hat OpenShift from https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-openshift-container-platform/ before deployment.
- Install Java V1.8 and make sure it is available in the path.
- On Windows, JAVA_HOME environment must be set with
%JAVA_HOME%\bin
as directory structure.

Procedure

Download the OpenShift Container Platform accelerator bundle to your local system or to a virtual machine that can connect to the system.
Note: Go to IBM Fix Central and search for the appropriate version of OpenShift Container Platform accelerator by using the name of the bundle.

Go to the directory where OpenShift Container Platform accelerator bundle is unpacked.

Run
cloudpakimport.sh
script with the following options:cloudpakimport.sh -h <cps-host> -u <user> -p <password>
OR
To interactively specify host, user, and password, run the script without any options:
cloudpakimport.sh
Note: By default, the following actions are done:
- Uploads all the files to the storehouse at
/admin/files/RedHatOpenShift
. - Imports and clones virtual images.
- Imports ptype.
