One-Way ANOVA: Related Procedures

Use the Explore procedure to screen your data. Study the shape of each group's distribution, and if the groups are not normally distributed, use the Kruskal-Wallis test in the K Independent Samples procedure, available in the Nonparametric Tests procedure. If your groups are normally distributed but two or more variables are used to form groups, use the GLM Univariate procedure. If your groups are not independent--for example, if you observe the same person under several conditions--use the GLM Repeated Measures procedure, available in the Advanced Statistics option.
