Obtaining Simple Range Bar Charts Summarizing Separate Variables

This feature requires the Statistics Base option.

1. From the menus choose:

   Graphs > Legacy Dialogs > High-Low

2. Select the icon for Simple range bar and select Summaries of separate variables.
3. Click Define.
4. You must select two variables and move them into the 1st and 2nd fields in the Bars Represent group. These variables must be numeric.
5. To change the summary function for a variable, select the variable in the Bars Represent field and click Change Statistic.
6. Select a variable for the category axis and move it into the Category Axis field. This variable may be numeric, string, or long string.
