Obtaining Drop-Line Charts Summarizing Separate Variables

This feature requires the Statistics Base option.

1. From the menus choose:

   Graphs > Legacy Dialogs > Line

2. Select the icon for Drop-line and select Summaries of separate variables.
3. Click Define.
4. Select at least two variables and move them into the Points Represent field. These variables must be numeric.
5. Click Change Statistic to define the function used to summarize the variables for the chart.
6. Select a category variable and move it into the Category Axis field. This variable may be numeric, string, or long string.
