Difference Area Summaries of Separate Variables

1. Select two variables and move them into the 1st and 2nd fields in the Differenced Pair Represents group. These variables must be numeric.

   Lines are generated for each of these variables, with the area between the lines filled in. The function used to summarize each variable in the chart is displayed in the field next to each variable name.

2. To change the summary function for a variable, select the variable in the 1st or 2nd field and click Change Statistic.
3. Select a category variable and move it into the Category Axis field. This variable may be numeric, string, or long string.
