Select Predictors

The Select Predictors procedure is useful for sifting through a very large number of categorical and scale predictor variables to select a smaller subset for use in predictive modeling procedures that cannot accept so many predictors.

Select Predictors is only available with IBM® SPSS® Statistics Server, and can be used interactively by users working in distributed analysis mode. For large datasets you'll probably want to make use of the IBM SPSS Statistics Batch Facility, a separate executable provided with IBM SPSS Statistics Server.
