The average (or sum) of the scores of the seven IOC-trained judges are highly reliable (interval of 0.9777 to 0.9843 with 95% confidence), suggesting that despite their apparent differences in scoring, the process was successful in training the judges to separate different levels of performance. The Single Measure Intraclass Correlation is the reliability you would get if you used just one judge. In general, it will be lower than the reliability you would expect from using the average or sum of several raters.
