Modifying non-SMP/E managed data sets

To modify a non-SMP/E managed data set, use the Modify action provided in the Data Sets table on the Non-SMP/E Managed Data Sets tab or page.

Procedure

  1. In the Data Sets table, select the data set to be modified. You can select only one data set.
  2. From the Actions menu or context menu, select Modify. The Modify Data Set page is displayed.
  3. Modify the data set name and volume, as needed. The data set name must be unique on the volume. For more details about each field, see help topic Modify Non-SMP/E Managed Data Set page.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.
