   Explanation
 reason is one of the following: 
    CU AUTHORIZATION FAILED SER=mmm-sssss 
     Where mmm is the hardware manufacturer and sssss is the
serial number.

    A VARY ONLINE command attempted to validate the use of advanced features for the device. The
authorization failed.
 In the message text:

     dev

     The device number for which the VARY command requested advanced features.

   System action
    The system continues VARY ONLINE processing for the specified device. The system disables the use
of certain features.
