Purpose of this information
This information provides application programmers with a detailed description of each Language Environment runtime option and callable service, as well as information about how to use them. It also provides programming examples that illustrate how each callable service can be used in routines written in Language Environment-conforming high-level languages (HLLs) and assembler language.
Who should read this information?
This information is intended for application programmers. Before using Language Environment, you should be familiar with the high-level languages in which your applications are written.
