Removing systems

To remove a system definition, use the Remove > System action provided in the Systems table. This action is listed only if you are authorized to remove system definitions.

About this task

When you invoke the Remove > System action, the system definition is removed from z/OSMF only. No changes are made to the systems in your installation.

Procedure

  1. In the Systems table, select the system definition to be removed. You can select multiple system definitions. You cannot remove a system definition that is associated with another resource in z/OSMF.
  2. From the Actions menu or context menu, select Remove > System. A confirmation window opens.
  3. Click OK to remove the selected system definitions. You cannot undo this action.
