Standards
Standards / Extensions | C or C++ | Dependencies |
---|---|---|

both | z/OS V1R7 |
Format
#include <complex.h>
double cimag(double complex z);
float cimagf(float complex z);
long double cimagl(long double complex z);
General description
The cimag() family
of functions compute the imaginary part of z.
Note: The
following table shows the viable formats for these functions. See IEEE binary floating-point for more information about IEEE
Binary Floating-Point.
Function | Hex | IEEE |
---|---|---|
cimag | X | X |
cimagf | X | X |
cimagl | X | X |
Returned value
The cimag() family of functions return the imaginary part value (as a real).
Example
For an example of a similar function see cacos(), cexp() or cpow().
