The Interactive System Productivity Facility/Program Development Facility (ISPF/PDF) is a set of panels that helps you manage libraries of information on the MVS™ system. The ISPF/PDF Primary Option Menu displays a collection of tasks related to program development and management, whereas the Information Center Facility main menu panel displays a collection of services and products, one of which might be ISPF/PDF. The first ISPF/PDF panel you see probably looks like this:
