You can receive five types of messages at your terminal:
Note: You may also receive write-to-programmer messages
on your screen. These are messages written by the system intended
for your system programmer, and usually do not require any action
on your part. Customizing Your Terminal Session contains information about write-to-programmer
messages.
The following topics describe mode, prompting, informational, and broadcast messages. See Communicating With Other Users for information about sending and receiving user messages. |
