Administering the Information Center Facility

Administering the Information Center Facility consists of maintaining the services within the Information Center Facility. Each chapter in this part covers a standard service the way it is shipped. Your installation might have customized these standard services or added other services.

Maintaining the News Service, describes how to view, add, modify, delete, and print online news using the Information Center Facility news service.

Maintaining the Names Directory, describes how to maintain the Information Center Facility names directory by viewing, adding, modifying, and deleting names directory entries.

Maintaining Courses, describes how you can use the Information Center Facility to provide online course information about both computer and classroom courses.

Enrolling Users Through the Information Center Facility, describes how to define users to TSO/E, RACF®, and the VSAM master catalog using the enroll service.

Maintaining User Type Definitions, describes how to view, add, modify, and delete user type definitions. User types define a class of users and contain specific information used to control access to TSO/E. Administrators assign user types to people when enrolling them through the Information Center Facility.

Setting System Defaults: ISPF Profile, describes how to change the model ISPF profile through the Information Center Facility.
