SETLOGR ZAI command

Use the SETLOGR ZAI command to modify specific system logger IXGCNFxx parmlib parameters pertaining to the z/OS® IBM zAware log stream client options. The command is useful for providing options for system logger to manage z/OS IBM zAware log stream client socket communication and log data buffering in order to send log stream data to the IBM zAware server. See z/OS MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference for more details on the system logger ZAI statement in SYS1.PARMLIB member IXCNFxx.

As part of the SETLOGR command, system logger may issue a DISPLAY LOGGER command. See z/OS MVS Setting Up a Sysplex Define authorization for the system logger address space for required SAF authority.

Before changing the ZAI options, consider issuing a D LOGGER,IXGCNF[,ZAI] or D LOGGER,ST,ZAI commands to see what options are currently in affect. See each parameter description below for any restrictions or special considerations on changing the parameter value with the SETLOGR ZAI command.
