Use the DISPLAY CONSOLES command to display the status of all consoles or specified consoles in the sysplex, including HMCS and SMCS. If you need information about extended MCS (EMCS) consoles, use the DISPLAY EMCS command to display information for extended MCS consoles.

The parameters are:
SYS is mutually exclusive with BACKLOG (B), HARDCOPY (HC), KEY, *, and U=.
The DISPLAY CONSOLES command response (CNZ4100I) will display SYSLOG and OPERLOG status.
If you omit this operand, the display is presented in the first available display area or the message area of the console through which you enter the command.
