How to Initialize Your Subsystem

z/OS MVS Using the Subsystem Interface

There are two ways to initialize your subsystem:
  • Specifying an initialization routine
  • Using the START command

You can also combine these methods, doing part of the setup through an initialization routine, then completing initialization through a START command.
