If programs are sharing data using the IARVSERV macro, the highest level of protection remains in effect to ensure data integrity. For example, pages that have been shared with a READONLY view, and are then protected through PGSER, will remain READONLY protected even after PGSER is issued with UNPROTECT. Likewise, pages that have been shared with a READONLY view, and are protected through PGSER, will remain protected even after IARVSERV is issued with UNSHARE.
