Order for Assigning Usage Types

z/OS DFSMS Using the Volume Mount Analyzer

GFTAXTR assigns usage types in the following order:

  1. HSM
  2. Temporary
  3. Backup
  4. Single
  5. BCOPY
  6. Active

You can filter on the usage types using the USAGE keyword. See USAGE Keyword for more details.
