Coding Considerations	NAME is the only required parameter. However, the HOSTNAME, NETSERV, and NODE parameters must be specified at initialization time or modified later in order to start the socket.

Restart or Command Modification	Cold start, warm start, or hot start with refresh for all parameters. Use the MODIFY,SOCKET=name command to modify an existing socket. Use the MODIFY,SOCKET,ADD=name command to add a new socket. Use the *MODIFY,SOCKET,DELETE=name command to delete a socket. An active socket cannot be deleted or modified except to change the JTRACE, VTRACE, or ITRACE parameter.
