Explanation
The mail filter program used the gethostbyname that returned NULL
for the hostname. 

filtername is the name of the filter registered by the
filter program in the xxfi_name of the smfiDesc variable used on the
smfi_register() API. 

hostname is the character string representing the host
addresses.

System action
The filter program ends and returns MI_FAILURE.

Change the configuration file so the filter uses a valid host name.
