For each event tested by a xSNDMSK, a bit string records the results of the check. The bit strings are RRETMSK, WRETMSK, and ERETMSK for read, write, and exceptional events. On return from the SELECT macro, each bit set to 1 in the xRETMSK is a read, write, or exceptional event for the associated socket. |
