Sorting format names

z/OS ISPF User's Guide Vol II

You can sort the name list on this panel by entering the SORT command on the Command line. The syntax of the SORT command is:

Read syntax diagramSkip visual syntax diagram
>>-SORT--+-NAME-+----------------------------------------------><
         '-TIME-'   
where:
NAME
Sort by name.
TIME
Sort by time last modified.
For example, this command would sort a format selection list by time: 
SORT TIME
