The SHIFT ( macro command moves characters on a line to the left without altering their relative spacing. Characters shifted past the current BOUNDS setting are deleted. DescriptionThe SHIFT ( command is limited to shifting columns of data on a single line. If you want to shift columns of data on several lines, each line of data columns must be moved individually. Return codes
