CEESxATN returns the arctangent of the parameter by using the equation
: result = arctan(parm1)
The following routines are provided for the various data types
supported:
- CEESSATN
- 32-bit single floating-point number
- CEESDATN
- 64-bit double floating-point number
- CEESQATN
- 128-bit extended floating-point number
- CEESTATN
- 32-bit single floating-point complex number
- CEESEATN
- 64-bit double floating-point complex number
- CEESRATN
- 128-bit extended floating-point complex number
Syntax
>>-CEESxATN--(--parm1--,--fc--,--result--)---------------------><
- parm1 (input)
- The input to the arctangent routine. The input range for real
variables is not restricted. The input range of complex variables
in parm1 is not equal to i or -i, where:
- fc (output)
- A 12-byte feedback code, optional in some languages,
that indicates the result of this service. If you choose to omit this
parameter, refer to Invoking callable services for the
appropriate syntax to indicate that the feedback code was omitted.
The
following symbolic conditions can result from this service:

- result (output)
- The result, in radians, of the arctangent routine. The output
range for functions of real variables is:
