A load module can occupy a different area of storage each time
it is executed. To ensure that the appropriate areas of storage are
dumped, the following conventions should be observed.
If an array and a variable are to be dumped at the same time, a
separate set of arguments should be used for the array and for the
variable. The specification of limits for the array should be from
the first element in the array to the last element. For example, assume
that B is a character variable and TABLE is a character array of 20
elements. The following call to the storage dump routine could be
used to dump TABLE and B in character format, and stop the program
after the dump is taken.
CALL CDUMP(TABLE(1), TABLE(20), B, B)
