Printer Support in PSF

AFP printers can support guaranteed print labeling or nonguaranteed print labeling. To determine the type of print labeling your printer supports in PSF for z/OS®, use the display printer information function. If the Define User Area is listed in the DEVICE CONTROL COMMAND Set Vector of the Sense Type and Model (STM), the printer supports guaranteed print labeling; if it is not, the printer supports nonguaranteed print labeling.
