The path name of each file that you want to print or send to an email destination. To specify data from standard input (keyboard data or the output from another command), omit the file name or specify a dash (–) as the file name. To print an MVS™ data set, specify // before the file name.

Rule:

If you specify more than one file with the same lp command, all files must have the same data format. For example, all files must be PostScript files or text files.
