Procedure for specifying attributes

On the Protocol panel, specify these fields:

• Mode: Select the Remote PSF option.
• IP address: Specify the host name or IP address of the system where Ricoh InfoPrint Manager or Ricoh ProcessDirector is running. You can specify the IP address in dotted-decimal or colon-hexadecimal format.
• Print queue name: Specify the name of the remote print queue.
• User options: (Optional) Specify one additional option for Ricoh InfoPrint Manager or Ricoh ProcessDirector. This field is case-sensitive. For example, you can specify:

  -ooverlay=O1MYLOGO

(Optional) On the Allocation panel, you can specify these fields. IP PrintWay™ transmits these values to Ricoh InfoPrint Manager or Ricoh ProcessDirector if no other value is specified during job submission. If you run IP PrintWay basic mode, the values on the Allocation panel apply only to documents that Print Interface or NetSpool processes.

  • Character sets
  • Input tray

• Error reporting values: Print error reporting

  • Table reference characters

Tip: When you select the Remote PSF option, IP PrintWay basic mode ignores the Formatting field in the IP PrintWay section. IP PrintWay basic mode processes data sets as if you had selected the None formatting option.
