Installing the Sametime client on the Citrix XenApp server

Install the IBM® Sametime® client on your Citrix XenApp servers as you would any other application. The Sametime client can be published as an application or you can choose to publish the desktop.

About this task

Sametime users need to have the Citrix Receiver installed. The Citrix Receiver is the client software that provides access to the XenApp installations. After the client is installed on the XenApp server, and after the Citrix Receivers are installed, users can access Sametime from their devices. Configure the Citrix Receiver to point to your XenApp server. When users log in, they can access the Sametime client.
