Logging in to a database server in an OAT group

Connect to a database server by logging in to a group of database server connections in the IBM® OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®.

An OAT group contains connection information for database servers. When you log in to an OAT group, you can switch to other database servers in the group without logging in again.

To log in to a database server in an OAT group:

  1. Go to the OAT root URL: http://server name/openadmin.
  2. On the OAT Login page, in the OAT Group list, select the OAT group that contains the server that you want to connect to.
  3. Enter the password for the OAT group.
  4. Click Get Servers.
  5. Select the server from the list of servers. The Server Details fields are populated with the server information.
  6. In the Password field in the Server Details area, accept the password if one is provided or enter a valid password, and click Login.
