SET SERVERPASSWORD (Set password for server)

Use this command to set the password for communication between servers to support enterprise administration and enterprise event logging and monitoring.

Privilege class

To issue this command, you must have system privilege.

Syntax

Parameters

password (Required): Specifies a password for the server. Other servers must have the same password in their definitions of this server.

Example: Set a server's password

Set the password for HQ_SERVER to agave.

set serverpassword agave
