CICS Explorer planning

The CICS Explorer® is a system management tool that is delivered as part of CICS Transaction Server. It is designed to provide an easy-to-use way of managing one or more CICS systems. Based on an Eclipse platform, it provides a view of some of the CICSPlex SM functions in a CICS Transaction Server and a platform for the integration of future CICS tools. You must decide how you will run the CICS Explorer in your organization before installing it.

To use the CICS Explorer with CICS® TS for z/OS®, Version 5.1, you must download and install CICS Explorer Version 5.1 or later.
