Administering the health of databases
To prevent database performance issues, periodically
purge your IBM® Business
Process Manager and
Performance Data Warehouse databases of data that is no longer required.
An administrator can perform this task by using the Process Admin
Console, IBM BPM operations
REST API, or wsadmin commands.
Important: All
calls to the IBM BPM operations
REST API require that the HTTP header BPMCSRFToken is
set with every request. For information about how to obtain a token,
see Preventing cross site request forgery.
Tip: Before
you delete any processes instances, you can get a count of how many
instances match the criteria for deletion. Also, if a delete operation
takes a long time, you can get a count to check how many instances
are remaining to be deleted.
You can also use the Performance Dashboard in the Process Admin Console to monitor processes and other artifacts that affect the health of your databases. For more information, see Discovering and managing database performance issues by using the Performance Dashboard.
